Might be a boring topic, but I felt like you guys would like to know. I just renewed the site for another two years, so another two more years of having our mediocre activity forum online
Just kidding, we have our ups and downs.

But like I said before, aslong as I breath this site and forum stays online.

How much is it to keep up? Curious is all.

24 months at $7,95 on a in the US located hosting service. about $191,-
Tough I get a considerable "discount" do to the Dollar/Euro course of the moment.

It is a reasonable price, and the host hasn't let me down in the previous years so well worth the money. Besides the host does manage to stay in the top 10 hosting service list for the last 3-4 years.

$191 for 2 years is pretty impressive deal. If I decide to make a website I'll be sure to remember them. 2 Years of Genocide on Pokemon.. I may need a therapist after wards but all good

They have to be able to kill me first before this site goes down... Considering the force required to do so, the world has allot more pressing matter to consider when that actually happens.

I can only say good things about BlueHost, excellent stability, excellent bandwidth (I think about 3 Terrabyte) and storage capabilities (practicly limitless). It supports SQL, PHP, countless subdomains.
The download speed and upload speed is reasonable 150kb down, about 20-30kb up. It's still only 7,95 a month, can't expect miracles.
Besides... Patient is a virtue.

It is a bit calm, but we have our good moments. It was pretty busy in the beginning, when WID was released, when Johnny showcased Fall of the Living, during the time we we're discussing a new ABS tutorial, etc.
It's just a bit worse during these harder economic times, people have less free time and have more concern with there normal "Offline" life.

I'm fan of this site. In my opinion PTEI2 is best rpgmaker fun-game ever created.
I waiting for PTEI3 and hope there will be 4 and 5 XD
